Job description
We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to conduct an independent research program using quantitative systems biology to understand how a plants external and internal environments are perceived and integrated to create a single regulatory output. For this analysis, we are using a model biochemical pathway, the glucosinolates, within Arabidopsis where we have a compilation of ~300 transcription factors, multiple metabolites, several miRNAs and several long ncRNAs that are presently known to influence the pathway individually. For this project, the goal will be to develop creative approaches to being developing a quantitative model to understand parts or all of this regulatory system. This project is designed to offer maximal flexibility for the researcher to shape the project based on their own interests and begin to form an independent research program.
