Postdoc with “Team Sport and elderly”

Copenhagen Centre for Team Sport & Health at Department of Nutrition, Exercise & Sports invites applications for a postdoc position within team sport and elderly.  
Applicants should hold a PhD degree preferably within exercise physiology or medicine, and have relevant professional experience with methods in exercise physiology Experience with testing will be an advantage. The postdoc’s duties will include research within laboratory, community settings and sport clubs and as well as teaching and duties related to implementation. The position may also include other duties.  
Copenhagen Centre for Team Sport and Health is a multidisciplinary research centre aiming at developing healthy, effective and motivating training concepts as well as developing strategies for recruitment and compliance to exercise and a physically active lifestyle. The Centre was established in 2012 on a grant from Nordea-fonden. In 2016, the Centre established a counselling and implementation unit which aims to implement the research results in the Danish society. The unit will contribute to inclusion of more Danes in exercise and team sport activities to increase health and wellbeing. The unit will among other develop comprehensive courses, counselling and communication activities. Further information on the Department and Centre is linked at and

The position is open from 15 November 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position will run until 30 June 2019.

Terms of employment  
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.  
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.  
Depending on seniority, the gross basic salary range for Postdoctoral Fellows is DKK 32,745 to DKK 34,476 per month (level 6 to 8) (about EUR 4,100 to 4,400 per month). A supplement could be negotiated, dependent on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. An additional 17.1 % monthly contribution to pension will be paid by the employer.

After the expiry of the deadline for applications, the authorized recruitment manager selects applicants for assessment on the advice of the Appointments Committee. All applicants are then immediately notified whether their application has been passed for assessment by an expert assessment committee. Selected applicants are notified of the composition of the committee and each applicant has the opportunity to comment on the part of the assessment that relates to the applicant him/herself.
