Research assistant of Field: Sustainability and Innovation in Food Systems

Faculty of Science, Department of Food Science invites application for a 3-year research assistant to join our Food Design and Sustainability research group.

The roles will be dedicated to one or more of the below research areas

• Substance and mass flow analysis
• Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)
• Techno-Economic Analyses (TEA)

The Research assistant´s duties will include modelling of industrial ecology system as well as teaching. The research assistant positions may also include performance of other duties.

The candidates must have qualifications and experience within one or more of the following areas:

• MSc in Environmental Science, Food Science, Biotechnology or a related fields
• Demonstrated experience in LCA, TEA, Food process or Input-Output Modelling
• Strong background in statistical analysis, modeling, and optimization techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
