Assistant Professorships in Theoretical Physics

The Niels Bohr International Academy (NBIA) at the Niels Bohr Institute invites applications for fixed-term Assistant Professorships as part of a vigorous campaign to expand into new research areas, and to strengthen on-going research programs at the NBIA. The Assistant Professors are expected to carry out an independent research program and interact with other NBIA members. They will have the opportunity to guide more junior fellows, teach courses at various levels, participate in outreach activities, and organize international meetings and PhD schools. Appointments are for a period of five years.

Terms of employment 
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.  
 
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.  
 
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 426.625 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 72.952). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
