Postdoc fellowships in experimental and theoretical condensed matter physics
We seek outstanding candidates for Postdoc fellowships to work on new physics and phenomenology of nonabelian systems. Our team is located at the Center for Quantum Devices, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and the Department of Physics, Lund University.
The program is sponsored through an ERC Synergy grant and involves advanced experimental and theoretical projects that work closely together. This gives a unique opportunity for participating in a creative project where theory and experiment together explore new physics.
The research is on hybrid superconductor-semiconductor structures and the overarching goal of the project is to demonstrate the existence of nonlocal and nonabelian quasiparticles.
The experimental groups are led by Ferdinand Kuemmeth and Charles Marcus while the theoretical part is led by Karsten Flensberg and Martin Leijnse.
Further information can be found here for the Center for Quantum Devices https://qdev.nbi.ku.dk, and the Department of Physics, Lund University https://www.lunduniversity.lu.se/lucat/group/v1000623
Starting date is flexible, as early as September 2020.
The University wishes our staff to reflect the diversity of society and thus welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of personal background.
